Bracknell is located in the County of Berkshire approximately 11 miles east of Reading, 9 miles south of Windsor and 32 miles west of Central London. Bracknell is located at the end of the A329(M) and benefits from excellent road communications with easy access to the M4 and M3 Motorways.
Bracknell has long established itself as one of the prime areas for industrial and warehouse occupancy.
Bracknell is an attractive location for large multi-national companies typical of the Thames Valley and M4 corridor which currently includes Waitrose, Fujitsu, Cable & Wireless, Johnson & Johnson, 3M, Panasonic, Dell and Hewlett & Packard.
Bracknell Town Centre has in recent years been completely regenerated. The Borough Council working in partnership with the Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (comprising Legal & General and Schroder) have transformed the town centre. The first stage of the redevelopment began with the opening of a new Waitrose store in December 2011. The new shopping centre known as The Lexicon opened in 2017 comprising 600,000 sq,ft of new retail / shop units, a new 12-screen cinema (including a 4DX screen), new restaurants and cafes, plus 1,300 new parking spaces in addition to improved access by public transport. Occupiers include M&S and Fenwick.
