RAB Commercial Property continue to acquire or let prime sites for global car rental companies including Enterprise Rent-A-Care, Thrifty Car Van Rental and SIXT Rent-A-Car throughout the UK. Recent acquisitions include sites and commercial property in Slough, Wembley, Croydon, Colchester, Kettering and Stevenage together with site sales in Croydon and lettings in Reading.

Slough - Bath Road
Acting on behalf of retained client Enterprise Rent-A-Car UK, RAB Commercial Property acquired a high profile 0.5 acre site at 225 Bath Road, Slough SL1 4AU. Enterprise Rent-A-Car have taken a new lease from landlord SEGRO.

Kettering - Cransley Connect
RAB Commercial Property recently acquired a this high profile 0.75 acre undeveloped road-side site, adjacent to Costa Coffee Drive Thru at Cransley Connect, Kettering, on behalf of Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Cransley Connect is located on the A14 at Junction 8 and is an established roadside, industrial / warehouse distribution on the Kettering Bypass. Adjacent occupiers include a Costa Coffee Drive Thru and EV Charging Station.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car secured planning consent for the subject site and undertook all the development works direct at no cost to the landlord in return for a new 25-year lease with 5-yearly upward only rent reviews.


Colchester - Gosbecks Road
Acting on behalf of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, RAB Commercial Property acquired a freehold office building extending to over 4,000 sq.ft over two floors on a site of 0.31 acres with 34 car parking spaces at tender from Colchester Borough Council.

The property is very prominently located on Gosbecks Road, adjacent to a new Lidl food superstore, with easy access to the A12.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car secured planning planning consent to convert and refurbish the former council office building for their own occupational use together with wash bay and EV charging points.


North Wembley - 239 Watford Road
In another off market transaction RAB Commercial Property acquired this leasehold opportunity on behalf of Enterprise Rent A Car from a private landlord.

The property, formally occupied by Thrifty, is located to the west of Watford Road (the A404) a short distance to the north of the John Lyons Roundabout, which links the A404 (Watford Road) with the A4127 (Sudbury Court Drive). Acting on behalf of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, RAB Commercial Property acquired another high profile former car sales site on the A232 Stafford Road, Croydon, opposite Waddon Train Station.

This off-market leasehold deal was agreed with a private landlord, subject to planning consent.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car have transformed the site with new tarmac surface, refurbished offices and new wash bay, at no cost to the landlord.



Twin Bridges - South Croydon
RAB Commercial Property successfully sold a freehold warehouse / industrial unit + yard with vacant possession on the Twin Bridges Business Park, Croydon to the Scot Group trading as Thrifty Car & Van Rental, on behalf of private clients.

The warehouse unit is located on the well established Twin Bridges Business Park, Croydon off the B275 Selsdon Road, which links onto the A235 Brighton Road. The A235 radiates north / south providing access into Central London and the M25/M23 motorways 6 miles to the south.
